Dmitri Kolobov and Signe Busk end 15-year partnership

Dmitri Kolobov and Signe Busk have announced that they will end their competitive partnership, closing a run that began in July 2011 at the Rising Stars Open Standard in Wuppertal, Germany. The pair represented Denmark on the international circuit and became a familiar presence in WDSF Standard events.

WDSF’s career summary credits them with 42 gold, 20 silver and 26 bronze medals. Their record also includes 49 GrandSlam appearances and 14 appearances at World Championships. In 2025, they won the World Championship in Show Dance Standard. The pair also competed at the 2022 World Games in Birmingham and earned bronze at the European Championship Standard Adult in Calvià.

Their final WDSF competition together was the German Open Championships in Stuttgart in August 2026. In their joint statement, they described the decision as a mutual step toward separate paths and expressed appreciation for the years they spent competing together. WDSF’s announcement provides the career figures and statement; this report does not infer what either dancer will pursue next.
