Larnaca, Cyprus, is the scheduled venue for the 2026 IDO World Caribbean Dance, Salsa, Bachata and Merengue Championships on 14–15 October. The official competition record names COPAA as organizer and places the event at the Multi-functional Center for Social Activities and Welfare of Larnaca Municipality.
The published programme lists four disciplines: Bachata, Merengue, Salsa and Salsa Rueda de Casino. The Bachata table includes female and male solos, duos and couples, with separate entries for children, juniors, adults and seniors. Competitors should consult their specific category: the event title alone does not establish eligibility or the permitted entry format.
Venue and official timetable
IDO gives the venue address as Faneromenis Street 62, Larnaca, 6025. A separate official schedule is linked from the competition page. The two-day calendar listing should therefore be read alongside that timetable when checking category times.
The record lists Edilio Pagano of Italy as chairman of judges, Klaus Hollbacher of Austria as supervisor and Vitaliy Tkachenko of Cyprus as scrutineer. It publishes an entry deadline of 1 October; the presence of category registration links should not be taken as confirmation that late entries are being accepted.
The linked Dance Events Cyprus website also presents the 2026 World and European championships and Diamond Grand Prix, alongside accommodation, transfer and other participant services. Those services are separate from competition entry and should be checked directly with the organizer.
