Here's what actually matters in your first year:

Making Money Doing What You Love

Professional breaking looks different than most people imagine. It's not just competitions and world tours. Real talk — the bulk of income for most professional breakers comes from:

  • Teaching workshops at studios, schools, and community centers
  • Corporate event performances (yes, it pays well, and yes, it's still fun)
  • Choreography for music videos, commercials, and theater productions
  • Brand partnerships once you've built enough of a following

Diversify early. The breaker who only competes is one injury away from having no income. The breaker who teaches, performs, and creates content has stability.
